Mason’s Scott Sigman found himself in the Corrigan Oil Winner’s Circle, at Springport Motor Speedway, to celebrate his win in the Performance Automotive NW Sportsman division. Charlotte’s Matt Kirchen took the lead after the drop of the green, with Okemos’ Steve Oberst making Kirchen’s reign short-lived. Sigman chased down Oberst, made the pass on lap five and then drove away from the field, leaving Oberst, Kirchen and Leslie’s Dave Thorburn to try and catch him. Caution closed up the field behind Sigman, as both Dennis Rockey, of Horton, and Kirchen made the hard right turn into the pit. Bill Denny, of Lansing, and Jackson’s John Krygowski found themselves in the top five on the restart. On the restart, Sigman resumed his Saturday night drive, as Oberst, Thorburn, Denny, and Krygowski tried to keep him in their sights, but all took the checker in that finishing order. Sigman also took the heat win.

Jackson’s Earl Miles scored another commanding feature win in the Valvoline Instant Oil Change Modified division. North Central Missouri’s Shawn Lee has kind of taken a liking to the big 3/8-mile oval as he was back for the second week in a row. He jumped out to the lead, after the green flag waved, and held off some heavy hitters, until the car got a little loose coming out of turn four, allowing Miles a little window of opportunity to take away the lead. Charlotte’s Bill Butler, coming off a win the previous night at Spartan Speedway, had been running side by side with Miles, but fell back as Miles took the top spot. Marshall’s Justin Kazmar gave chase before going up in smoke, relinquishing the second spot to Butler. Lee ran in third but had his hands full keeping Darel Woolsey, of Horton, and Charlotte’s Wayne Haughton at bay. Woolsey and Haughton made their way around Lee, with Haughton diving under Woolsey for third. At the line, it was Miles, Butler, Haughton, Woolsey and Lee. Butler and Woolsey tallied heat wins.

CJ Ewing, of Concord, captured his first-ever checkered flag in the Pure Stock division, winning a hard fought battle with Munith’s Matt Patrick. Ewing took the early lead from Jackson’s Larry Surber Jr., leaving Patrick, Spring Arbor’s Jonathan Smith, and Jackson’s Jeremy Lutz to duke it out for second. Lutz closed on Patrick’s bumper, after getting around Smith, and tried the low side of Patrick, but thought better of it. Both Smith and Lutz retired to the pit, with Patrick able to issue the challenge for the lead after caution waved. The duo swapped the lead in the waning laps, with Ewing nipping Patrick at the line for the rear wheel drive win. Bryan Jenks, of Holt, was the highest finishing front wheel drive, so he got the win for that portion of the division. Surber and Charlotte’s Josh Sattler rounded out the top five. Lutz and Jenk won the heat.

The Boss Snow Equipment Pony Stock division saw rookie, Todd Metz Sr., jump out to the early lead at the start of the 20-lap feature. J.T. Leach, of Eaton Rapids, tried to keep pace, while Marq Eaton, of MI Center tried to hold off the advances of Edson “Rowdy” Rowley III, of Jackson. Rowley was picking off cars, right and left, from the second groove. He reeled in Metz, who got caught up behind a rookie competitor, and took the lead with just six laps remaining. As the checkered flag waved, it was Rowley, Metz, Leach, Eaton, and McBride. Garry Sanfilippo, of Charlotte, and Rowley scored wins in their heats.
