The Director of Operations for the CRC and Driver of the #17 Ford Taurus SHO is Patrick McNamara. A native of Fowler, Michigan; Patrick McNamara graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business from Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH and has been actively involved in the Mid-Michigan Sports Scene since the Mid-90’s, most recently as the host of The Lansing Sports Rage, a Sports Talk Show hosted on The Game, 730am WVFN in Lansing. Patrick is married to wife Shawnie, has 3 sons; Darren, Cameron and Nikolas along with 2 step-daughters Katelyn and Michela.

A life-long love affair with racing cumulated with the acquisition of a race car in 2006 and the formation of LSR Racing. Patrick’s rookie season at Spartan ended with a 13th place in the standings and earned Rookie-of-the-Year honors in the division, while his rookie season at Springport Motor Speedway ended with a 5th place finish in the standings.

In 2007 Patrick formed the Community Racing Challenge and spent the '07 raising money for local charties, giving first timers the chance to enjoy the sport of short track racing, all the while picking up several heat and feature wins on the way to a 2nd place finish in the season championship standings in the FWD Pure Stock Division.
